When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, and a securely hashed password. You may also upload an avatar photo. This information is required to provide you with a personalized experience.
Content You Create
Ratings, reviews, watchlists, and other content you submit are stored and associated with your account. Public content such as reviews may be visible to other users.
Usage Data
We collect anonymized data about pages visited and search queries to improve our recommendations and service quality. We do not track individual browsing behavior outside of Episodegraph.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. Google AdSense, our advertising partner, may also set cookies to serve personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of advertising cookies via Google Ad Settings.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services
We use the TMDB API to fetch movie and TV show metadata including titles, posters, and episode data. TMDB is not affiliated with Episodegraph.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information, ratings, reviews, and watchlist will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall rating averages) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt), HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and secure session management. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Episodegraph is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
