These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Episodegraph, operated by Episodegraph ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using any part of our service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if you are located in the EU), and that you accept these Terms in full.

You retain ownership of content you submit (ratings, reviews, comments). By submitting content, you grant Episodegraph a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content as part of the service.

You agree not to submit content that:

• ✕Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• ✕Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• ✕Includes spam, advertisements, or promotional material
• ✕Violates any applicable law or regulation
• ✕Contains personal information of others without their consent

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• ✕Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from Episodegraph without written permission
• ✕Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features of the service
• ✕Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the service
• ✕Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• ✕Manipulate ratings or reviews through fake accounts or coordinated activity
• ✕Use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The Episodegraph name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of Episodegraph and may not be used without our explicit written permission. Movie and TV show data, posters, and metadata are sourced from TMDB and are subject to their respective licenses and terms. IMDb rating data is sourced from IMDb and remains the property of their respective owners.

6. Advertising

Episodegraph is funded in part by advertising through Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labeled and are served by Google based on their own policies. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements. By using the service, you consent to the display of advertisements.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Episodegraph is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Rating data sourced from third parties may not always be accurate or up to date.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Episodegraph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply and cannot be waived by these Terms. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of Episodegraph after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
