Overview

Inception is one of the few films that genuinely rewards repeat viewings. The first time you are following the plot. The second time you are watching the performances. The third time you are noticing the visual language Nolan uses to distinguish the dream levels. Endlessly rewatchable.

Inception is Christopher Nolan at the peak of his powers. A genuinely original blockbuster that trusts its audience to follow a complex narrative across multiple levels of reality. The rotating hallway fight sequence remains one of the most inventive action set pieces ever filmed. The ending is perfectly ambiguous.
