I went into Succession expecting a show about rich people fighting. I came out of it having watched what I believe is the greatest television drama of the 21st century. Every season is better than the last. The finale is perfect. Roman Roy is one of the greatest characters ever written.

Succession is the defining television series of the 2020s. Four seasons of impeccable writing, career-best performances from the entire cast, and a finale that is simultaneously devastating and completely inevitable. The way Jesse Armstrong and his writers made us care deeply about profoundly awful people is one of the great achievements in television drama.
